godiva#2 Commit yourself whole-heatedly to this tradition of eating eggs.  We eat eggs at Easter because, traditionally, eating eggs was banned in the week before Easter (known as Holy Week). The leftover eggs were decorated and given to children – sooner or later someone had the bright idea of making them out of chocolate. They’re also a handy way of ensuring that Lent is well and truly forgotten about in a blaze of sugary glory.
