Put The Power Of An Attorney Behind You

attorney

Laurence D. Henry is the Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Texas Title and a real estate attorney.

1. Briefly describe advantages of your services to Realtors and their clients?

Texas title insurance is unique in that we are providing the same regulated insurance policy for the same regulated price, so we have to differentiate with service and expertise. LegacyTexas Title’s difference is that we try to provide better service, better personnel and superior knowledge than the competition. Having knowledgeable and approachable attorneys that are genuinely interested in visiting with agents and their customers is also key.

2. What do you do when you are not advising clients?

When I’m not working, I spend most of my time my following my second grade daughter’s activities or working on seemingly never ending home improvement projects.

3. What is your favorite area of Dallas and why?

My favorite place in Dallas, is along the first base line of the Ballpark in Arlington on Opening Day the first week of April. There is no better way to celebrate the beginning of spring with a cold beer on a workday afternoon.

4. What would you suggest to people who are interested in visiting you but do not know what to expect? What services do you provide clients?

Title insurance is a product that most consumers don’t understand or appreciate needing. While we rely largely upon the Realtor and lending community to introduce us to many of our customers, we always welcome buyers and sellers who want to discuss the real estate transaction process or who ask for pricing expectations. Visiting us is not an intimidating venture. Customers should expect a warm, friendly reception anytime they visit us. The real estate closing is often the last part of the real estate transaction, so we want to make sure the buyer, seller and Realtor leave with a positive experience.
